Traditionally, there are two types of ROVs: Inspection Class and Work Class. In other words, they are divided into those that serve visual inspections and those designed to do heavy work such as drilling, cutting, welding. GOZCU falls under the inspection class and is also called mini-ROV.
Although ROVs in this category are generally used for visual inspection purposes only, GOZCU offers a variety of functions normally found in higher categories ROVs. For example:
– Lateral movement capability is essential for the inspection of ships or underwater structures.
– Stability control in all directions (6 Degrees of Freedom)
– Space for additional useful parts, modularity (robotic gripper, sonar, water quality sensors, positioning, sample collection, etc.)
